The Afghan Folad factory was established in 2007 with significant goals, including reducing imports, creating job opportunities, achieving economic self-sufficiency, and enhancing the export of quality steel products. Our activities date back approximately 35 years, when our founders played a key role in the steel industry.
Today, Afghan Folad, leveraging experience and continuous efforts, has become one of the leading producers of quality steel in the country. We are committed to developing innovative products, preserving the environment through the use of recycled materials, and continuously improving quality.
Our goal is to respect customer needs, innovate within the industry, and play a key role in the economic development of Afghanistan. در راستای تلاش برای رشد و خودکفایی اقتصادی افغانستان، فاز اول تولید آهن گادر در فابریکه ذوب آهن افغان فولاد با ظرفیت تولید بیش از 300 تُن در 24 ساعت، در برج جوزا سال 1403 هجری شمسی، توسط الحاج نورالدین عزیزی و هیئت همراه با شکوه تمام افتتاح گردید. این افتتاحیه نشانگر آغاز فصل جدیدی در صنعت آهن افغانستان بوده و با استفاده از پیشرفتهترین تکنالوژیها و تجهیزات معاصر صورت گرفته است. همچنین در این مراسم، سنگ تهداب پروژه تولید سیخ گول نیز گذاشته شد که این پروژه با بهرهگیری از تکنالوژی روز و تجهیزات مدرن، به عنوان یکی از مهمترین پروژههای توسعهای افغان فولاد، گامی بزرگ به سوی خودکفایی صنعتی و تقویت زیرساختهای تولید آهنآلات در کشور به شمار میرود. افغان فولاد همچنان متعهد به توسعه ظرفیتهای تولیدی و ارتقای سطح کیفیت محصولات خود، نقش کلیدی در تامین نیازهای داخلی و توسعه صادرات به خارج از کشور ایفا میکند، و این افتتاحیه بخشی از تلاشهای ما برای ساختن آیندهای روشنتر برای صنعت آهن افغانستان میباشد.
REBAR
Producing rebar 60 and 75 diameters 8-36 mm in
accordance with standard ASTM A615 and Gost-5781 compatible to other international standards branded with AFGHAN FOLAD mark. AFGHAN FOLAD with its advanced rolling machines equipped with PLC system which minimizes the involvement of individuals in the production process as well as modern quality control laboratories and experienced specialists has been able to produce and supply high quality rebar products.
H&BEAM
Manufacturing H-beam and I-beam types of grades, 42, 55 and 55 according to St. ASTM A 572 and ASTM A588, also compatible to other accepted international standards. manufacturing H-beam and I-beam branded with AFGHAN FOLAD mark in Afghanistan in different lengths in accordance with standard weights and sizes, in line with policies to expand product diversity, in the near future, AFGHAN FOLAD productive I-beam type, size variety, weight increases and will continue until completion of the 12 to 30 I-beam products package.
Laboratory for testing the mechanical prperties of products
To ensure full confidence before bundling, Afghan Folad conducts stretching, bending and elongation tests on products using the advanced Universe Testing Device which is located at the factory site, and after ensuring, supplies the products into the market, Although the quality of products is adapted using the chemical composition determination laboratory from the beginning of the production process, to ensure full assurance of the produced products Afghan Folad’s practitioners perform mechanical properties tests on the products before supplying the products to the market.
In addition to high strength and resistance, Afghan Folad products have suitable ductility, the amount of elongation of iron round bard grade “60” of this factory reaches to “20%” and also due to the possibility of testing up to the angle of “180” degrees without any crack, it is proven that these products have high resistance to earthquake and vibration.
